Every new mother knows this feeling: that moment when you realize that your little angel is growing , waaaayyy too fast. I mean, you just gave birth to him what felt like yesterday and you’re now planning his first birthday?! I don’t imagine it gets any easier, and by the conversations I have with mothers that have adult children, it fly’s by.
My way of holding on to my little baby boy was to have a really cute woodland themed birthday party for him. I love this theme because it was not the typical blue themed boy birthday, and the stuffed animals were so cute! We got super lucky that weekend with the weather, so the kids were able to play in our backyard.
The lovely decor was so simple. I found this fantastic printable package on Etsy. I just had everything printed at the local print shop (which cost me under $30) and assembled all the pieces. And the plush stuffed animals I bought on Amazon.
My little babe! Isn’t he the cutest?!
Chris, Jasper and I didn’t get many photos together – as happens when you’re hosting 40+ people at your house – but I like how sweet and candid this one of us is.
My in-laws got this amazing tractor for Jasper for his birthday! All the kids loved it – so much so that there were some intense moments lol
And no party is complete without cake!
